I did a little investigating and found out about this book. It happened to be the name of this series.

One day I saw two words on Twitter trending that caught my eye. I was surprised at how the author managed to keep the story moving and moving without dropping the pace, since the book is a bit on the long side. The story moved fast, which meant I didn't get bored at all. Arik was a great love interest, and I didn't mind the romance because Bastien was an interesting character. Other than that, I really enjoyed what I tead. That, no only made her a bit annoying, but also gave the story a strange vibe because it felt like the author was over explaining every single detail about the world and every single character choice, instead of showing them or trusting us to figure it out. "I need to know it all" and it came across as if she thought everyone owned her an explanation for every damn thing. Right at the beginning she was really easy to like, but as she discovered the truth about her identity and her powers, she turned into Ms. I have to be completely honest and say I liked Gia way more before she became a Sentinel. Coming to think about it, isn't it what we have now? Except the magic isn't real as it was to Gia, this book's MC.

I could easily picture myself being super happy to discover a magical world inside a library. As a book worm, the library jumper concept immediately grabbed me. The Library Jumpers series is best enjoyed in order. Add a French flirt obsessed with Arik and a fling with a young wizard, and Gia must choose between her heart and her head, between Arik's world and her own, before both are destroyed. Jumping into some of the world's most beautiful libraries would be a dream come true for Gia, if she weren't busy resisting her heart or dodging an exiled wizard seeking revenge on both the Mystik and human worlds. While examining the book of world libraries he abandoned, Gia unwittingly speaks the key that sucks her and her friends into a photograph and transports them into a Paris library, where Arik and his Sentinels-magical knights charged with protecting humans from the creatures traveling across the gateway books-rescue them from a demonic hound. That is, until Arik, a leather clad hottie in the Boston Athenaeum, suddenly disappears. Gia Kearns would rather fight with boys than kiss them.
